30 for 30
« on: May 01, 2017, 10:54:48 AM »
I only watch the ones that interest me, but these films are so well done and I've learned a lot from each of them (i.e. how the Boston College point-shaving scandal was tied to Henry Hill/Jimmy Burke of Goodfellas fame, and the FBI only knew about it after Henry Hill admitted to fixing games while trying to get two girlfriends into witness protection as well as his wife.   :rollin).

The OJ: Made in America 5-part story was incredible.  I was riveted to the TV when that aired, and the statement from his former agent that OJ all but admitted his guilt to him was so chilling.

I like the ones that I've seen, but like you, I only watch ones that interest me, and I haven't even gotten to see all of them.

I liked the Catholics vs. Convicts film.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

Yea definitely some good TV, but I haven't watched many in full.  I do believe there is one coming soon about the NYC sports radio show Mike and the Mad Dog that would interest me.
