I'm not trying to call you out specifically, Peter, but referring to this as a "cover band," IMO, is dismissive and misses the point that one of the guys who wrote this material has assembled a band he feels is more than capable of executing the material live in a way he feels it should be executed. This isn't at all comparable to a situation where you just have a bunch of random guys who have no connection whatsoever to the original music throwing it into a set just because they like it.
