I'm the guy that walks out in 45-50 degrees F in shorts, flip flops and then I wear a jacket  :lol I dunno why but I love that. I run hot (like ridiculously so...it's a constant 65 F in my room if I can help it, Texas be damned) so it feels great. I obviously still get chilly if it's super cold but man...it takes a lot for that to happen.

It mildly amuses me to see some fucktwat asscunt (TM) weave in and out of traffic like a bat out of hell with no blinker at any of these moments, driving beyond recklessly...and then they pull up to a turn only lane and put the blinker on. It used to drive me up the wall but now I just get a good giggle. Like the one moment we don't need to know where you're going unless you're going to do the world a favor and drive head on into traffic...that's when you decide to let everyone know you're turning. Great. Job.  :corn

DTP says "WOW, LOOK AT THAT GREAT POST"
RIP DTP.

People watching a gig on youtube that was filmed on a phone camera and dissing the guitar tone or drum sound or live mix :lolpalm:

A bit like dissing a work of art because someone used a telescope to see it thru a gallery window and took a picture of the eyepiece with a camera.

When I see people start fires or fights it's ridiculous.  This coming from a sports fan.

Just read THAT argument - you know the one...

I can't possibly criticise a band because i've sold 0 records.

Yeah and no film critics can criticise any movie because they've never made a movie :rollin.

But - and not to open a can of worms - the Film Critic is usually rather educated on movies and doesn't say stuff I like "this sucks", or if they do, they give tangible, objective standards and the reasons why that work doesn't live up to the standard.  Most backyard critics - like us - are all about "dude, that is the greatest fucking record ever, why?  Because uh, I love it?  The guitars are rad?   The singer can sing?"   "Being critical" and "being a critic" are not at all the same thing.    It bugs the shit out of me - I know, wrong thread, right? - when people say "this is the greatest record ever" when really all they are saying is " I like this record better than pretty much any other I personally have ever heard."    "I like it" and "It's good" are not the same thing, not the same thing at all.

Well in my defence - I was commenting on an article about a drum track and I mentioned that it wouldn't have been one take and stitched together from up to 50 takes

since it was from a studio album on a major label.

I never comment " lol they suck balls d00d " on line. I also hate when people say things "suck" with no explanation either...

When people say things like " Um..How is it MAY 1st ALREADY ? ! "

Um...Did you black out for a few months ? You Remember when it was New Years ? Then February then march Then April ?

You remember all those months happening ?

There you go.

Also maths. Also it happens every year.

:lolpalm:

It's like when people go " Ooh isn't it cold ! " in the middle of Winter.

Well...yeah ? It's the middle of winter. It also happens....Every year.

Has time ever felt like it went fast or slow for you?

I feel like these are normal reactions to life.  I dropped off my garbage at the edge of my curb last week.  It was still full the next day.  I, for some reason, felt the entire day like it was Thursday when it was Wednesday, so much so I took the garbage out.  I feel like these are things that make us all human and things we all can relate to.

See, I'm guilty of this BAD.   And for me, it's just as if the last two or three years have REALLY moved quickly.   At Christmas Eve I saw my mother-in-law over the weekend, and suggested we get lunch.... I saw her over this weekend, and we realized that not only did it not happen, we haven't even TALKED about it, and... CAN YOU BELIEVE IT'S ALMOST MAY?   :)

Yea, I am experiencing this as well.  I honestly can't believe how quickly that winter went by and it's already May.  Feels like September was only last week.

I know exactly what that's like. Tomorrow is my last day of college after 10 long ass years, that just dragged and dragged and went on and on. But then again, its feels like I just started yesterday and it flew by.

Why is it a big deal if someone takes 10 years to finish college?

Not everyone knows what they want to do right out of high school or the minute they start college.

Some single parents have to work full time job and be a parent, while going to school part time.

etc.
