Yea, I think I enjoyed Alice Cooper's set more. Besides all the on stage antics, the band really rocks and got the crowd into it. He's a great entertainer.
Who opened? How long did each band play? What'd you think of Purple? How did Gillan sound? Can I ask any more questions? What kind of beer did you drink? What did the gf wear? 
Edgar Winter Band opened, I missed them, then Alice Cooper then Deep Purple. Alice played for an hour 10 minutes and Deep Purple played for an hour 20 minutes. I'm not a huge DP fan, I enjoy them, so this is coming form a casual fan. I thought Gillan sounded good. The performance was solid, but it was just a bunch of old dudes playing music. After seeing Alice do his whole show, it felt kind of like a let down. Granted, I had an amazing time and loved how I got to get both bands in one show. The place was only like half full, well most of the seats sold, but the lawn was pretty empty. They priced this one with seats at the same price as the lawn so it made sense no one really chose lawn seats. I think my gf was the youngest person there. The crowd was all old stoner dudes. Which was kind of funny. I drank Heinekens. My gf wore pants and some shirt, nothing that would make you thing she's going to a rock n roll concert. I tried to get her to wear leather, but that didn't work. I got lots of video, I expect to have a finished youtube video tonight and will share in the concerts thread if you are interested in how they sounded.
