On my mind...
Saw a trailer for another Transformers movie this morning. Does anyone still have interest in that franchise? I watched the first one years ago when it came out. That was quite enough for me.
Watched a little of the new Gong show last night. (Terrible by the way) Why is Mike Myers hosting that show as an alter persona called Tommy Maitland? Makes no sense to me.

So the dick waving contest begins between myself and my supervisor. Not going to get into it... but he seems threatened and has been waving it around.  We actually got into it yesterday regarding something via a group text. And funny enough... my phone took a shit on me during it. He is afraid that I am gunning for his job. Basically I don't want his job, but if he loses it and I gain it, it will be his own doing.

I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

This is turning into a busy week. We are seeing Roger Waters on Tuesday, and we were supposed to go down to Torrance on Thursday (town just south of Long Beach in LA) for something for m GF's work (she is getting paid and a hotel comped by their tourism board or whatever to write about Torrance... ) And now since we are getting the pup on Thursday afternoon, we are going to go spend the day in LA on Tuesday BEFORE Roger Waters, get our pictures and what not done, and then go down there again after picking her up and stay in the hotel.

Great thing about tiny ass dogs... they are easy to sneak into a hotel.

Nora, our Morkie (Yorkie/Maltese) Gets WAY too excited when she's out and about. She loves people... and acts like she's never seen a person in her life when someone walks by. She can get really really yappy... I hope Gidget (or if I have my way, Cocoa) isn't as bad when she's older. Right now she is so tiny that even her "bark" is so tiny and soft that no one would hear it outside of the hotel room.


I am so excited though. We are going out to her current foster home to drop off a toy or 2 for her to get familiar with before we pick her up next week.

When we got ours she didn't bark for the first few months and one day she started to try and play with our cat. We got very lucky, we have neighbors who have yorkies that bark all the time, Lola doesn't she is also completely house broken.

How old is Nora?

Nora is will be 5 in May.

When we are home, Nora only barks when someone is at the door, (Just a single yap), when she hears the garage door open (meaning I am home from work), or when we wind her up and get her excited. Like I said when she's out though, all bets are off.

We drove up to Monterrey last year (beautiful coastal city a few hours south of San Fran) and took her around in her stroller (yes, we are THOSE people) and she loved it. We had to stop every 10 feet as we walked because people were just as excited to see her as she was to see them.

We were going to call her Chewy. We wanted a dog named Chewy. We discussed calling her Chewy during the entire drive up to get her (Stockton- like 8 hours one way...) but when we finally met her, we decided to keep the name that the breeder gave her. She now goes by Nora, Snorkels, or simply "Dog".
