It's a "newer" marketing agency, all young people (I'm actually two years older than the partner/owners CEO and CTO) who seem to value the laid back approach and directly rewarding results. They've been in business for 12 years so it's not like they're fledgling, but they have the young tech feel that looks out for the employees more than the company itself.

I'm excited. Also eager to be out of the design arena. As fun as it can be, I'm burnt and really don't want that to be under scrutiny anymore. I have found I have a lot more success with management and organization, which will also allow me greater advancement potential over time. This is the first time in my career where I don't feel like I have to compromise anything to take a job.

jingle.son and I today are heading down to an art college that he's likely going to apply to next year (he still has one more year of high school). It's not his first choice, but a decent alternative if he doesn't get in to his first choice. Weather looks bootiful for a drive - about an hour each way. Rain is in the works for tomorrow, so it'll be a good day to get some chores done.

Yeah, I registered a little bit later than the main regulars, probably due to not having permanent internet at the time.
But am I right that nobody else has brought it up? Because that seems pretty significant!
