That's awesome Prog. Now I have to check out Haken :lol

Checked them out a couple of times, but had to stop as soon as the vocals came in. Otherwise it probably would have been alright. Vocals are always the biggest deal breaker.

Agreed. Vocals always ruin a band for me.

So if we can get moved and set up in time, thinking of hosting pre-show happy hour at our new place before the Maiden/Ghost in Newark.  Should know in the next couple of days.  We're literally around the corner from Prudential center, so it's super easy.  And if we're not ready, still plenty of nearby spots that look promising on the beer front.

Well, crap. DTF is now blocked on my employer's network, which means I will be on here a lot less often.

I had all four wisdom teeth pulled when I was in high school.  I really don't recall it being that bad, like everyone said it would be miserable and besides a bloody mouth waking up the first couple nights and a light diet of liquids and mushy foods, the pain wasn't that bad overall.  Maybe it's more painful with age, not sure.  I got the funny gas for that procedure and I recall laughing my ass off when the nurse asked me what I wanted to do for a living.  I so distinctly remember it because I was thinking to myself, who asks such a question when I am gassed?  But I think it's part of making sure the gas is working.  I think my hysterical laughter at such a question was enough for them to know it worked.

I had all 4 out when I was 18. Remember the injection then waking up feeling woozy and being sick...

Then the car ride home where I pretty much slept the whole time.

Then being in bed for ages with puffy cheeks eating soft food and my pillow having the smell of blood :P

But no pain, crucially.

I remember them asking me if I wanted to be awake or not.

I chose not.

Then I arrived and they wouldnt let me have them out the first time as i'd had a cup of tea in the day.

So I had to come back when I hadn't consumed anything.

What up, party people.

Sorry to hear you got WebSensed, heffy  Had that happen a few years ago (which was not coincidentally shortly followed by me ceasing to be a mod in P/R). Fortunately, our IT eventually decided they had better things to do than police how people spent a few minutes here and there.

Seth MacFarlane's new Star Trek parody TV show looks all kinds of shit.

Just the same thing he's been doing for years. Casting himself as the lead in vanity projects and making really obvious Family Guy style jokes.

I think it looks quite good so far, like a comedy TNG. Seth MacFarlane is a huge Trek fan, and I expect it's actually going to be a much better Trek show than the new Trek. I know king's excited for it too. Galaxy Quest: the series.

But I know your feelings on Seth MacFarlane, so I expected you to automatically dump shit on it, just like everything else.

Those little rolling thingies signify laughter and enjoyment, something I'm not convinced you understand.

"All kinds of shit" sounds totally open minded and not biased at all. :neverusethis:

Orville just looks like " A Million Ways To Die in Deep Space "

i.e. nothing new for Seth at all. Just Family Guy live action in space.

:dunno:

I don't mind Family Guy humour and I occasionally find it hysterical - but Seth is so one note and it's tired at this point.

Also I LOVE Galaxy Quest. And this looks like a really bad version of that.

Seth MacFarlane has very little to do with FG besides voice acting and hasn't for a long time, so that's not that irrelevant. If I say something negative about a new Trek movie based on one trailer you're all like YOU CAN'T JUDGE A MOVIE BASED ON ONE TRAILER ZOMG SO BIAS MUCH HATER JJ WOW. Hey, maybe your boy Ricky Gervais will pop up in it too because it's been almost a week since you've let us know about that one!
