What are these new triangular spinning things kids are always holding? I saw three children (different families) at Costco with them yesterday, one of which ended up getting rammed by my cart.

A fidget spinner kind of thing? Just a guess since I only heard of this thing a few days ago from a video.

I think it's called a fidget top or something like that. My old boss would make them with his 3D printer and sell them. It's kind of like the fidget cube I've seen around.

Damn kids and their fidgeting! Can't they just play video games indoors like a kid should?

Victoria bought me a fidget cube one day, and I have to say, I really enjoy the thing. I use it all the time at work, especially if I'm on an hour long conference call or something and just staring at a deck.

For those that don't know, this is a fidget cube. It's just a cube with a bunch of stuff to keep your fingers busy. My favorite thing on it is the toggle switch. The roller ball and joystick/button are good too. I never touch the spinning disc thing.

Is that the one that was on Kickstarter a year or so ago? It looks like it. Almost considered getting one myself.

Yes, so I can kill them easily when they are fidgeting in game and easily noticeable.

I think that's where it started. Apparently there are a million knockoffs now. Pretty sure mine isn't an "official" one.

I bought the board game Risk, and it's arriving today. Can't wait to play tonight. We've played Pandemic and Firefly to death and wanted something new. I never played it before and my only knowledge of it comes from the Seinfeld episode.

:2metal:

I saw them in 2006 with Tool at Wembley Arena and in 2007 supporting Blood Mountain at HMV Forum.

They were obviously better when they headlined. Songs like Iron Tusk and Where Strides The Behemoth were awesome.

Good afternoon / evening.

My bowling league is over for the summer, and when things start back up in Sept, My gf is going to be running the league as secretary. I don't think she realizes how much of a bitch it's going to be. Since she is doing that, I will be taking over running one of the side betting games for the league. I didn't volunteer. I was volunteered! lol

And now for today, I came in to work to find that my supervisor has decided to delegate parts of his job out.

I am now in charge of scheduling. Not only am I in charge of it, I get to migrate our account off of simple MS Word schedules and start using a program the rest of the company is on.  Wouldn't be an issue, but there are so many changes that had been made to the schedule just this week alone (people calling out, coverage, shift swapping, etc) that it's insane. And each one of these changes has to be inputted manually. I swear to god when I bring up a raise in the near future, I better not catch any shit.
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

The problems of online ordering.

Yeah. I mean, it's either that or leave the house, so what are you gonna do? :lol
I've never ordered from this site before (although other family members have), but I'm quit annoyed about it. When I can, I stick to sites I know are reliable, but this was the only site that had what I wanted.
I also got him a custom designed laminated poster, and that arrived the next day, as has everything I've ordered from that particular site. The sites I get DVDs / music / video games from are always reliable too.

And I could get something for my stepmother, but.. nah.

My little bros have fidget spinners.

You spin em a few times.

Time how long they take to stop.

Ok I'm done. 😐
