Leather is a terrible choice as a desk/office chair.  I've got one with a memory foam cushion, and mesh backing with lumbar support contour.  Best office chair I've ever had - and durable.  No 'flaking' at all.

Next one I get won't be any kind of leather, it just gets too hot, especially if there's any humidity. I don't like the idea of the mesh ones, so it will probably just be cloth.

I immediately turned to my other fellow DT fan that works with me and told him "Ok, let's do that, when it's our turn we pick Octavarium so for 24 minutes we'll torture the others"

G'morning all. Settling in for what should be a fairly lazy day at the office, just got off the phone with my boss and the testing I've been working on doesn't need to be wrapped up until mid May.

Listened to SFAM during the morning commute (as I do every Friday/last work day of the week) and now Haken's Restoration EP. So damn good.

So I just ran into a coworker from my old job (the county job). Apparently the manager who laughed at me when I requested a second chance in a different dept, tried to get me to resign, and then ultimately fired me left that dept a few months later. He is now basically overseeing the largest dept in the entire agency. Meaning, if I were to grow the balls to reapply and make it to an interview, odds are he'll be there. And even if he didn't interview me, he'd have to approve me getting hired. So... there goes that.
