@ King  :tup :tup

Yup, time to chill. I can hear Mrs. P putting ice into glasses down stairs. Kansas tomorrow night, so I'm going to put them on the stereo and go read.

Night, night, folks.

The wife and I are jacked for the event and the company.

Then on vacation in August,  Haken, The Neal Morse Band and Anathema are playing in Boston.  What a vacation.

Yeah, I'm programming a playable level using Unity, but it will just be a video, not a downloadable demo. It's not something I'll be able to finish until I get that sweet 1060 though.

Yeah, we've had a ton of consoles over the years. Even very recently, we've played with our SNES and N64. Those games still hold up well. I've been trying to find our copy of Banjo Kazooie, but I don't know where we put it.

I wonder if my brother still owned that game.  The Mission Impossible game for the N64 was great.

The World is Not Enough was my favorite shooter for N64. The laser guided rocket launcher was so much fun.

It's been too long since I've played it to remember, but I remember it had a good variety of missions and gadgets. Goldeneye was still the benchmark for multiplayer though.
I have literally every N64 game on my computer, so there's nothing stopping me from playing any of these again, I'm just lazy.

I remember the Tiger Wood game on Game Cube you could make your own character.  It was fun to do.

The wrestling games were always the best for creating your own characters. We made so many different characters, and we'd always remake the same characters in every game.

Yea I would look up online created characters for celebrities or other wrestlers that weren't in the game to create some pretty cool playable characters.  That was always fun.

The great thing about the THQ wrestling games is that they went from making the WCW games to making the WWF games, but they left everything in there so you could create any of the WCW wrestlers, all of the moves/taunts/clothes/faces etc.
I always hated seeing people post CAWs for random people though, and it would always be listed under cheats taking up space. :lol

Howdy folks.

King, my ROSFest weekend is even more awesome.  That Thursday night, May 4th, the fam and I are watching Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2.
Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

Yea that was great to leave all that stuff in the game for the fans.  I recall I had a forum I would go to for CAWs and they were always solid.  I also had my game genie for more unlockable goodies in those THQ games.  Why can't they just make a new one based off that same engine?!?!  I actually bought one of the newest wrestling games like 6 months ago for PC because it was on sale and I was hoping to bring back that nostalgia and the game flat out sucked.  Totally unenjoyable IMO.

The new ones are ok for the occasional play, but they don't flow like those older ones, and they still lack a lot of the features. I played a ton of WCW Revenge and Wrestlemania 2000 recently with my brother, and it was still the most fun I've had playing a game in ages. We'd spend ages reversing and blocking everything, and even the most lowly punch and grapple was well earned. :lol
The Gamecube ones were actually very good, and the most similar to those N64 games, even though it wasn't the same group. I'd love to see a new game based on that engine. I've even looked into whether there was any way to get the code from it to do it myself. :lol

Nice, yea there was a gamecube wrestling game we loved to play in college but I forget which one it was since I didn't own it.  We would have a 4 way hell in a call match before dinner almost every day for awhile  :lol
