I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

On the way home from a pretty great three days in Vermont, capped by an anniversary party for the beer forum I post on. Also, there's a place up there with some of the best sausage gravy I've ever had. Cured me of what hangover I did have this morning.

Hey Reap - went to insure my new bike and it was ludicrous. Must be because it's a brand new bike...

I asked Dad to see how much it would be for him to insure it for himself and add me as 2nd driver...

WAY cheaper. So we may just do that and cancel my previous policy on the Yamaha.

Even if I give dad his quote AND pay the rest of my old policy - it's still *less than half* of what it would be for me ....  ::)
