Just drove the wifey to work and snowblowed.   8 inches of snow so far and it's wet and heavy.  Yuck.

By half way through I kinda realized what they were going to do, so I didn't feel too bad, but I almost lost it when I saw Monroe start to cry. :(
I thought it was a satisfying finale, although I didn't need the little bit at the end at all.

Watched it last night and it was a great episode but I'm with you, I had a good feeling what was going to happen towards the middle.

When it was just Hank and Woo, it was like ok maybe they'll kill off two minor characters. When Eve died it was like, maaaaaaaybe but not likely, and of course after that it was like nope. :lol

Yea when they started killing everyone I knew it wasn't going to last. They weren't going to pull a GoT.

Nice! Happy birthday!

I like how Tool trolled people on April Fool's day by saying Sammy Hagar was going to be the new Tool singer due to the struggles of getting the next album out and posted a picture of Maynard and Sammy together on facebook :lol which was obviously not true, but love Sammy so I love it regardless.  The post also said how Sammy was able to take VH to new heights so he could do it for Tool.

Good Morning!

So today marks my first day back on morning shifts at work.. at least for the weekends. This also marks the week I am trying to lower my caffeine intake.

I have to admit.. I am already failing.
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Good luck.  Im a caffeine addict so I can only imagine how difficult this can be.  Is there a reason you are holding back?  I just got diagnosed with gout, but apparently coffee is good for it which was good to know as that became my main source of caffeine after giving up soda.

The withdrawals from going a day with out it were too much.. and I know it's just not healthy.. the amount I consume. I was consuming at least a monster a day for a long time, and when I started working my big county job that failed, I started drinking a lot more of both monster and coffee. None of this counts my soda intake as well.

I got through Friday with just soda, Drank a small coffee yesterday (the headache got to me), and then broke down this morning and picked up coffee on my way to work. I use the fact that I am working the morning shift today as my excuse. lol

Oh man I forgot how much stuff actually happens during the mornings here.

Spent 2 hours dealing with a burst pipe on one of our docks. It took myself, the Fire Department, and Harbor Patrol to figure out how to get the water turned off.

Upside was the girl from Harbor Patrol was really cute :zydar:

It's tough, I'm went from coffee to tea a lot of the time which helped. I'm used to working a morning shift but the boredom at work coupled with the time I wake up makes it very hard to keep the eyes open.

Morning.

Morning jingle. Morning Reaper.

Just caught up on The Walking Dead. I watched the episode, and the ending seemed abrupt; turns out a lot of sites uploaded a version that cuts out after only 41 minutes, right before all of the action begins. Managed to find it from another source and watch the end though.

I cannot wake the fuck up this morning. I'm in a damn daze. What's weird is I had an easier time getting out of bed but since getting ready to leave the house I've been struggling mightily.

Morning all.

Finally got taxes done over the weekend.  We did surprisingly well.  All of those moving expenses (and keeping track of them) helped out tremendously.

Yeah we got ours finished up late last week and sent in the eFile forms this morning. This year was a "good year" and I'm glad I can forget about them now.
