Yeah it's starting to get annoying now. We had a 2.5 week delay before we even started because the contractor could not get some necessary permits from the town (not his fault, evidently our town is a pain when it comes to that). Had another week's delay because the electrical inspection failed over something minor and the inspector for plumbing didn't show up until everyone at the site had already left for the day. We've had a few random days where they just didn't show up because we're not his biggest/highest priority job (which in the grand scheme of things I get, but it's just another cause of delays). And now this issue with the cabinet (plus realizing that one of the windows they put in needs to be moved over a tiny bit). The original start date was Jan 9th and the estimate was six weeks if everything goes smoothly and eight being more likely. We didn't start until Jan 25th, meaning today marks 8 weeks, and there's still a couple weeks of work to go.

Yea, got to say moving out of my apartment and into a house, that was one of the huge benefits.  No one else in close proximity.  Which means I can be really loud and annoying with out annoying anyone else essentially, and no one else annoys me.
