Morning.  Last week before vacation.  Got a guy that had a nephew pass away and has to travel to Milwaukee this week, then another is going to rehab for alcohol and a third claims a supervisor is harassing him.  I know better because this kid has no attention span and every supervisor has complained about him.

Took off yesterday because of a wedding sunday night in South Jersey so getting back after the breakfast monday wouldn't be worth coming in for, but I didn't burn a vacation day since today I am working from 10am to about 4am tonight/tomorrow and then am working all weekend in Los Angeles.  Had to book a quick emergency trip since my LA coworker is currently in Denver with my NJ coworker since there's major work there and then our latest server delivery from Dell is all wrong but can't wait for them to come back and fix, I need to go out immediately (but can't leave the NJ data center unmanned) so that's why it's happening over the weekend.

Honestly, I love it.  I didn't need to burn a vacation day and will get a LOT of OT for doing a pretty easy job (it will be a lot, but it's easy) plus while in LA I can likely catch 311's concert in Hollywood.  I had no other plans for this weekend so earning money and catching one of my favorite bands on the other side of the country on work's dime sounds like a win.  (well I still have to pay for the concert, but my OT will more than make up for my personal costs to attend).

Did you wake up during the AM hours? (another instant fail)

The hockey and basketball ones have been around longer than I've had the game, but I've only ever gotten to play the hockey one once because nobody else on the server is playing it. I don't get the basketball one too often either, but that's a lot of fun. I actually played it a couple of days ago, and did pretty well. It's a good 2v2 game, so maybe we can try that next time.
