Well, considering how demanding the vocal melodies are and that he was quite ill, imo his performance was very good. I was a bit worried about the state of his voice when he sang some of the high notes in the first half of I&W lower and changed some melody lines but I guess he spared his voice for the more important high notes in the second half, because he hit the high notes at the end of Metropolis, and he nailed UAGM and LTL as well. To my ears the only part that went really wrong was the pensive fear part in TTT, he should invent a good and much lower melody line for this!
Absolutely brillant and the emotional highlight of the show for me was Wait for sleep with Jordans improvised intro.
The fans I talked to after the show and later at the station were not criticizing JLB at all, on the contrary they mentioned he deserves a lot of respect for his performance and that he did great despite his illness. I guess different people just hear him differently or just expect different things from him.
