As a basic rule, if you hate it, you must solely blame Portnoy. If it's good, then you must downplay MP's contribution to the band as not being important anyway, or claim he's just lying. It's the DTF way.

The setlist is pretty amazing, already. Do you think they'll follow up with LITS?  :o
It sounds like, "ruk, ruk, ruk, ruk, ruk." Instead of the more pleasing kick drum sound of, "gzarruk, gzarruk, gzarruk, gzarruk."

Theyve hit a lot in the first three. So theres BAI and some Astonishing to come. Reckon LITS next and those few songs round out the first set?

Nope.  But I believe we definitely still have some non-TA songs other than BAI.  I just don't remember what they are at the moment.  :lol

Since they chose TBP this time, I really hope they play STR on the next tour (2018 maybe?). It's the most recent song with JM lyrics and was one of Mangini's favorites from DT12.

Also, hope James can hold up through the whole set  :-\

Was HK the song that was never played in it's final form?

Good grief - yeah! That's the live debut of Hell's Kitchen in its entirity I think.

So far they're 3 for 3 on 10/10 songs. A Life Left Behind next, yeah? Neat.

Looks like the start of a TA block. I hope it's not too long! We had plenty of that last year!

Was HK the song that was never played in it's final form?

It was played a handful of times in the final bunch of semi-acoustic club shows in 1998, but not ever since. 18 years ago, people.

Well, that was what I had in mind when I originally posted that.  But then after someone guessed it and Scotty posted that that song had actually been played a couple of times, I posted that Scotty's correction was...correct.
