I'll put something out there now, I can never shit in a public toilet, I just can't do it.

Ah, a kindred spirit. In all my 44 years on this planet, I have only once had to do the business in a public toilet, and that was at Heathrow just before boarding an 11 hour flight to Los Angeles. 10 September 2015, fact fans ;D

I can't even wrap my head around this. Not counting the office, I shit in a public toilet at least twice a month.

When I was in marching band in high school I went to band camp. The toilets were so gross there that I couldn't bring myself to use them for anything but piss so I ended up not taking a dump for five days. Looking back now that was extremely dangerous and stupid but I was so grossed out that it didn't matter to me at the time.
People figured out that the white thing that comes out of cows' titties could be drunk, and the relation between sweet desires and women's bellies growing up for 9 months. It can't be THAT hard to figure out how a trumpet works.”

As a kid, I would never shit in a public bathroom.  I would avoid doing that anywhere but my own home... then I went to college.  Then I had no "home" and the bathrooms were shared and probably worse than most public restrooms.  I got used to that real quick and now I go wherever I need to if I need to.  Nothing can stop my shit now.

Ughhhh. When you check your bank balance before getting paid and again after you were paid and it's the same amount because lots of things went out at the same time.

Hate that shit.

When staring at dark background/light text for more than a few seconds, it really gets burned into my vision. So I've always used the slightly lighter themes here.

Ditto. Literally a minute of light text on dark background makes my eyes hurt like nothing else. I use the default SMF theme for DTF. Plain as muck and easy on the eye. Just how I like my women.

For a start, that's not even a white background. Secondly, if your white level is frying your eyes, your monitor is adjusted very incorrectly. ;) Keep it to 120cd max!
Only King could mis-spell a LETTER.
Yep. I think the only party in the MP/DT situation that hasn't moved on is DTF.

When I google "exactly what you typed in", I get a bunch of entries for neat questions about texting and searches.   It's pretty informative.

a. When someone texts you a question and you reply instantly with a follow up Q and never get a reply.

b. When you text a question to someone and they wait til they next see you face to face to answer it

FFS stuff like this pisses me off. The more "CONNECTED" we are - the less we actually reply to one another.

True it seems the more we are connected by technology the less connected we are personally.

How about when intelligent and witty comics are hilarious on chat shows or those panel games.

But in their own actual tv shows or live show they're filthy or really unfunny.

Such a waste.

When I'm having a discussion with someone and it's agreeable, they say; "I know, right!" at least that's the common trend in my area. It seemed that women started it and now the dudes are saying it in the same tone,,, I know, right!?

I've actually noticed that, at least in face to face conversation, people are dropping the "I know" and just saying "Right?!!!"

The only thing worse than that is when they say something, then sort of trail off and end with "so... um, yeah."

This looks like a pet peeve thread.  Well, I'll quote George Carlin by saying, "I don't have pet peeves.  I have major psychotic fucking hatreds."   :lol

I know this is the correct thread to vent bile..But I won't bother.

Suffice to say. Of course people love Carlin. He's anti governemnt. Anti religion and pro drugs and smoking and drinking.

Why wouldn't people love that ?

See also : Bill Hicks.

End.
