He was a MAJOR heartthrob in his day.  It didn't come out until he was dead and buried that he was gay and had to hide his sexuality for most of his life  :(

I call them "Covidiots" and I'm constantly having to ask them to respect my personal space.  Some of them look at me like I just said, "hey, let me see your penis"  :justjen

Gee, sort of makes you wonder what you actually said... :lol
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related

Usually I'm very polite about it, the first couple of times, after that...I'm a little less tactful.  I'm a 56 year old dude, I ain't looking to get in any fistfights with people younger than my kids, but I ain't gonna be a fucking doormat either.

Thank the maker that I have a home gym that suits all of my needs.  Plus, everything is closed around here anyway.

I haven't a clue who Rock Hudson is.  :lol

Ok, Tim.

 :lol

Quite frankly the name sounds made up! *said in Kramer's voice.

"Rock Hudson" was Roy Harold Scherer, Jr.'s stage name.

He was a MAJOR heartthrob in his day.  It didn't come out until he was dead and buried that he was gay and had to hide his sexuality for most of his life  :(

I think most would not have been surprised with his stage name.

I'm as straight as a flagpole but it's encouraging with how far we've come with the sexuality being public type of thing.

Same and I agree wholeheartedly.  Holding someone's sexual preference against them as some kind of fault is like telling someone they're an asshole because they've got brown hair.  It's nonsensical and kind of ignorant.  It is pretty amazing how relatively quickly things have change though, especially in the last decade or so.  I mean, we're about to have a member of the president's cabinet be the first openly gay cabinet member in history.  We've come a long way, but we still have more work to do.

It's interesting to note as well, that the people whom mainly still have a lot of those racial and prejudicial tendencies, are dying out. That's the generational shift change, and this generational shift that is happening is a big one in the aspect of Human compassion, by being less racial and prejudiced towards our fellow man. And also, a bit more open minded and accepting. I find that quite interesting in itself.

Yes we do still have a lot of work to do, as that dying generation really screwed up a lot of things, that we now have to basically clean up. And the mess reminds me of Mario Sunshine.

I feel, we need to come to an agreement on the priority of what needs to be fixed. It's just that, everyone has their own priorities of what they want fixed. And that itself is irritating when the ones in charge can't agree to disagree, come to a consensus, or why not just let everyone have 1 thing that is a guaranteed fix, instead of bickering and not even getting anything done.

On the topic of things that I find mildly irritating:

"Covidiots"

These are the people who enter the gym wearing a face mask then promptly and permanently position it below their chin for the rest of their time in the gym, while simultaneously and with no regard for the safety of others, violating your personal space and breathing all over you without a mask while you're trying to do your workout in peace and away from other people.  It's almost as if they're purposely trying to get a rise out of people.

The "Overhang"
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

I don't understand why wearing a mask and staying the fuck away from people is such a hard concept. My other half and I take it VERY seriously. I understand not everyone does. But at the very least, wear a damn mask and wear it properly. If you don't want to... stay out of the public.

Yeah, it's not a hard concept...On paper. But put it into effect in reality, and boom, it's lost on people. A reason could be that there is just too many variables in the human, that such a concept is impossible to realize for everybody to follow. That's just ignoring the human psychology, and expecting that all people are the same and will follow this with ease, as if it's second nature.

Why is it so hard to eat healthy?
Why is it so hard not to be a dick on social media?
Why is it so hard to see one's cock in their pants?
Why is it so hard to treat others with kindness?
Why is it so hard not to fight over land?
Why is it so hard not to throw your trash on the ground willy nilly?
Why is it so hard to park your car in between the lines at the super market?
Why is it so hard not to put your cart back when you're done?
Why is it so hard to clear your trash when you're eating in at your local fast food place?

I could do this all day long, bro.

I hate when I click on a website and a video starts playing.

I'm usually listening to music while perusing the internet and if I want to read something, fine, but then a video will start out of nowhere and mix with my music...

I put my keys in the exact same place every time I come home so if theyre not there then I have NO IDEA where to start looking.

I spent about two weeks in Turkey once, half in Istanbul and half about four hours east, in a town called Eregli.   I can't tell you how many times I saw these little cars - think a Datsun B210 or something similar - come screaming to a stop facing each other, or in the middle of an intersection when one or both didn't stop at the light, and the drivers would get out, scream at  each other for a couple minutes, get back in and drive away in different directions.   It EASILY happened about five or six times in both places (though more often in Istanbul because of the volume).   It seemed like chaos, but with an intrinsic order to it.  Not one accident, and not one actual fight.

I don't know that this actually rises to the level of "irritating," but the concept of "unboxing videos" might be the dumbest thing ever.

I don't mind them so much if its like unpacking a brand new guitar. As we all know that feeling of getting the package in the post and bringing it indoors and the anticipation and excitement.

I started drumming again a year ago and ive ordered many parcels and delivery day never gets old ;D

However - i've recently started playing The Legend Of Zelda : Twilight Princess *** again after many years so i've had to look up walkthroughs on YouTube.

I cannot BEAR the walkthroughs where they show you how to get past a certain puzzle - yet they insist on narrating every possible second.

I watched one today to try to solve a puzzle and not only was he telling you everything that was happening on screen - as if you couldnt see yourself

But was also READING OUT every single dialogue box. I CAN READ THANK YOU SHUT THE F*** UP...

I see some Game Walkthrough videos have " NO COMMENTARY! " on them. Because other people know it's beyond annoying.

:)

*** yeah yeah one two princes kneel before you. Thats what i said now.  ::)
