Wal Mart.  They take doors away from us, they mandate that we can't get forces to their supervisors.  They cry for us to unload their trailers so they can use them to ship to their stores and now they ask for a gameplan to empty all the pallet they loaded into JBHT trailers.

I will ask,

1.  Will you give us more doors
2.  Will you give us an assigned driver so we can hit higher goals
3.  If so i will staff accordingly.

I know their answer will be no to all.

wow a lot of people on this forum can't see an obvious joke

To be fair I can't ever tell if you're joking or being dead serious with this face typing:

Being spoken to like I don't actually have 16 years of experience in my career, but am in fact only a seven-year-old in disguise. Certain members of my team are so pedantic and condescending (to everyone, really) that the slightest comment, remark, question, or casual conversation turns into some sort of lecture on a topic of which said person is obviously an expert. It's actually a trend that is noticed by no less than half the team. Intervention might be around the corner.

Irritating:

"this changes everything".   Really? <David Lee Roth voice> "I don't feel tardy!"
"the [insert something completely banal and useless] that we need!"   New network TV shows are starting up, and if I hear that in an ad one more time, I'm going to scream.   "The episode we need!".  No, I need a vacation, a stiff vodka, and a back rub, not your dumb show!

Pssshh. Suit yourself. My year has been boring as shit and I don't follow sports. I'm looking forward to the new season of Battlebots, premiering December 3 on Discovery Channel (8pm-10pm EST), more than anything else in life right now. I NEED it. I need some kind of return to the way things were in the before times.

No, I hear you, I do.  It's more the idea that I'm being told what I need.

But you said that you're being told that it's the "episode WE need."  You're not being told that it's the "episode YOU need."  You're just not part of "we."

Now I feel marginalized.   ;) :) :) :) :)

Self-esteem attacks.

When you do something minuscule but still "incorrect" and instead of being rational and just shrugging it off, learning from it if necessary, and moving on, you tumble down a complete abyss of self-doubt and self-criticism.

Yep. I do that a lot too. I've gotten better with some concentrated effort this year, but it's still a struggle.

I get irritated when people call me "brother."  There are three people that are allowed to call me "brother": my brother, my sister, and Hulk Hogan.  That's it.  No one else!

There was one time me and my best friend were out at a bar with a group of other people, and after we got a little silly with a few drinks, we sat there laughing our balls off for like 20 minutes going, "Whatchu gonna do brother, when [insert really stupid reference/pun/joke here]" like Hulk.

I like calling my closer friends 'brother' sometime.

I feel so square, so... "white", when I say that though.  Do you say "BrothER" and pronounce it clean, or do you slur the end to "brutha"...  I inevitably try to go somewhere in the middle, and end up sounding like I swallowed my vodka down the wrong pipe.   "Captain" and "my friend" are so much easier and less open to ridicule.  :) :)

You gotta accept your whiteness first, brother. :)

I usually just say 'bro' but tend to say 'brother' in text.

Not really annoying per se...

But it's kind of amusing when you say you're not a fan of a band/film/song that someone else is

and they insult you PERSONALLY.

Rant time....

This should probably go in the pissed off thread, but this one is at the top.

You know what annoys me?  People's lack of perspective and sense of entitlement.  The human race is getting more selfish, arrogant and far less grateful.

We run swimming lessons and we have a pretty big, well branded program that's cheaper than most around with better and more flexible conditions.  That's run in an indoor heated pool, but we also have a leisure pool and 50m pool outside.  We have the perk that kids after their lesson can go and have a swim for free outside.  Any parent or sibling that wants to swim though, pays entry and also coming on a non lesson day is entry for everyone.  The centre is so big that people go from inside, downstairs and use the pool and it's hard to police. As it's getting warmer, people don't give a fuck, they will bring one child in for lessons but the other that doesn't swim will still use the pool.  Parents will jump in and swim too without paying while their kid is there.  Yesterday my receptionist asked one notorious family for taking the piss if any of the kids not in lessons were swimming.  The answer was no.  I go down and find her putting 3 kids in the pool.

It's at a point where we almost give up.  We pull people up and tell them and they always respond with 'we pay this amount for lessons, we should be able to use the pools also!' Well, no motherfucker, you pay for LESSONS to teach your kids how to swim so when they come down we're not watching their asses so closely because your too fucking stupid to make sure they don't die while your head is buried in social fucking media on your phone!  You are paying for the service to teach your children and I pay the teachers, that doesn't entitle you to have free reign of the joint and get everything else for nothing.

Anyway, I'm not trying to make more money out of these people, I work for a government sector so the money isn't going in my pocket, but fuck peoples attitude and ability to be completely dishonest is fucking terrible.  Coronavirus has done nothing over here to change peoples perspective.  We got out of it lightly and it's given no one perspective on life at all.

I was in the city last weekend and there was this homeless guy outside the cd store.  His face was the face of defeat.  He didn't look all that troubled from drugs alcohol etc.  I'm sure he was, but he genuinely looked like a guy that has had a bad run and it's all gone wrong for him.  His face almost haunts me.  I went in and as I was browsing I told myself I was going to give him $20 on the way out.  This 40 something year old guy sitting on the street with his hat out defeated and battling begging for money while people walk past like he's not even there and then on the other side I'm dealing with asshole, lying people that think they can take, use and abuse whatever they want because they feel they are entitled.  What the fuck is wrong with us?!  Unfortunately, the homeless guy had moved on when I came out of the store.  I looked around but he had moved on.  I wish he waited a little longer.
Everyone else, except Wolfking is wrong.

Rant time....

Amazing, really.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

That was my main point of the rant.  Just seeing the two ends of the spectrum really shook me truthfully.  I've dealt with a lot and seen it all, but I don't know, maybe cause I'm getting older this affected me more.
Everyone else, except Wolfking is wrong.
