I just noticed that because I had to swap out one of the songs (Kylesa - Tired Climb) for another (Giant Squid - Sixty Foot Waves), the EP is about 40:30 in length shit. Anyway, I already told tomi that the last minute on Saint is negligible so it should still fit within the time frame.

The original EP I made was quite different from the one I sent in the end and the title 'EP of Death' made more sense, as I had only songs about or relating to death or final tracks from albums. I had to cut out some artists and make it more cohesive and that's how I ended up with what I sent. Some artists I didn't send, but considered in early drafts were Shining, Destrage, Voyager and Intronaut. The first version I sent Tomi had an Ihsahn track as well, but Ihsahn turned out to be banned, despite not being on the banned list. Originally I even had two Ihsahn tracks, so I'm glad I didn't have to swap much.

i did some cutting and editing and stuff to my songs too & the EP would be way over 40 minutes (and not flow well) if i didn't.
for one i cut off like 30 seconds at the end of witherer that was just noises and stuff, and then about 2 whole minutes off the start of chrysalis of ambient drones. then i turned around & added 45 seconds to the xanthochroid song from the previous track on the album because it worked better that way, so 

also i could swear intronaut were on the banned list but i prob wouldn't have sent them anyways. mostly tried to keep it to stuff i've been spinning recently but cobalt slipped on there anyways

one day i'll send another ep that isn't five tracks long. the one i sent to 425 was 6 tracks but all the others i've sent have been 5 
i think it started because of train too, i had planned out like a 10-track ep from 10 different artists and then he put that silly 5 artists limit so i sent 5 songs from 5 different artists
i am never gonna beat how good my ep for home was though, no matter how hard i try, so i might as well give up on ep making now

someone should run a roulette that's just 3 rounds of EPs tbh, i'd love the heck out of that
i'd do it myself but i already have an idea for my next roulette tbh, and also iv'e been disappointed with my ep rounds in both roulettes tbh

also here's a hint for my EP, that's the middle third of the cover i made 

i've been way too overenthusiastic about my ep but that's because i'm really happy about it, even if nobody else is

elite's ep: i know like half of this but this was pretty solid. i didn't like the mr. bungle song at all and where everything's perfect feels like a weird choice of a closer, especially when you have my famed disappearing act already on the ep, but 

train's ep: gotta be honest this felt too samey to really get into. i kind of just zoned out by the fourth or fifth track. the he is legend song isn't as good as the one i mentioned either, tbh. you'll probably win

home's ep: gotta be honest i just listened to the two songs i didn't know, and they were alright. ep flow is probably good since it's like 60% the ep you sent me

@Parama; that's probably because you know the TYS song as an album closer. I didn't think it was weird to not have it as the last track. The Jolly song wasn't on the EP initially, I had Celestial Violence by Ihsahn as a closer first instead of it, but Ihsahn turned out to be banned. You not liking the Mr. Bungle track isn't something I can do stuff about though I think it's great, but I wouldn't have sent it if I didn't.
