Getting married in 13 hours, and freaking out!
« on: September 17, 2016, 12:59:32 AM »
I love this woman with all I have, we will have a beautiful lifelong marriage, but I am scared. Of so many littles things mostly. I am 26 and never moved out, always lived with my parents. It's gonna be such an adjustment living with someone else. I have never been a great sleeper and I'm really scared I'm not gonna be able to sleep well with someone else, which is such a dumb fear. She has a wonderful loving family, but I am not used to being around children and a really "close" family like she has. I am beyond excited to get married, but scared!

Congrats man! I gotta ask though, why the rush to get married instead of moving in together a couple of years before deciding something like that. Then you wouldn't have all those fears you mention and more secure about your relationship.

This October will be 22 years married for the Queen and I. I couldn't be any happier. We are partners in crime and though there is ups and downs,  life is filled with that anyway.

Might as well deal with the peaks and valleys with your partner in crime.

I use my sig to pimp some bands from Italy! Check out Elvenking (Power / Folk metal), Folkstone (Rock / Medieval metal), Arcana Opera (Gothic/Noir/Heavy metal) and the beautiful voice of Elisa!

Also, if my kids are still living at home when they're 26 I'm going to be an alcoholic.

I think that once the OP heard about Brangelina, he dumped his fiancé and flew to Cali to make his case.    YOLO!

And on top of that, there's alimony to pay and probably some child support as well.

This. They are enjoying each other on their honeymoon. They better not respond!

Getting married was one of the best things I ever did, and was never nervous.  But unlike the OP I was banging her for two years prior.  Hopefully all is well and they are exhausted :)

This thread :lol

I'm also curious about why you're going straight from living with parents to married, with no trial period in between. Religious reasons?? Anyway, hope it works out.
