they're so good you put them on your list twice, apparently  :corn

Look who's talking. Your own banned list has Judas Priest placed between K and L.
This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.

dunno what you're talking about evermind  :corn

(also my banned list is massive lol forgive me for a mistake or two?  :'( )

anyways self-imposed challenge in this roulette is to only send stuff i've never sent before, bcuz i'm bored of sending Oceans of Slumber - Winter and East of the Wall - First / Three Songs / On the Album

i'll probably at least send east of the wall at some point though

there are actually two other bands in the wrong spot in that pic and they all have something in common, i added them all in last-minute because they were well-known bands that i didn't want to be sent stuff from  :lol

May jump on the piano bonus point bandwagon.

In related matters, what is your view on video game music?

Also, punk rock? I've got lots of cool punk rock songs under 2:25 that could steal that bonus

I don't listen to video game music a lot, but I love the ones I do listen to sometimes, like the Morrowind theme. I guess I do love it partly just because of the memories of playing the game. But feel free to send video game music! I will reject it if it's from a game I've played though. (I don't game a lot so chances I know whatever you'll send are slim)

As for Punk Rock, I think it's usually great music live but as for listening, I usually don't strongly dislike it nor like it, it's just okay music for me. Chances of getting a 6 are pretty high, but hey perhaps you can prove me wrong :azn:

i actually have no clue what to send

can't wait for the EP round

i'm sending an EP even if I get cut, which is likely

:lol I'll still listen to it  :tup

I haven't listened to a lot of Indie yet but I looove Neutral Milk Hotel, I am not a big fan of emo usually, as for pop-rock, I guess Coldplay is pop-rock? I like Coldplay, but as with punk it's usually just okay music for me

Yeah me too. I really liked Lunacy and was eager to try out the full album but it's just impossible. But then again, I strongly disliked everything I heard by NMH so I guess I'm not ready for anything

Are you doing hangmanen once all the songs are in btw?

Also how does the psychedelic bonus point work? My psychedelic song doesn't sound anything like either of the examples but out of my personal experiences with psychedelica it fits the theme perfectly. :corn

I won't do hangmanen for this round, too much stuff to do already, but I'll try to do it for next round.

And that should be fine :azn:

Already got eigth of the songs!

I'm going to see Swans live in about a month. I find the band really intriguing, although I find them very difficult to listen to on recordings. I wonder what kind of experience it'll be to see them live.

Of course, what pushed me over the edge was the opening act :heart

You could do a "semi-hangman" in that you pre-enter some letters, and then only take guesses for artists and song titles.

It's very hard to listen to any 2CD Swans album in a sitting. Glowing Man is great, but not anywhere as close as The Seer in terms of quality. Still better than To Be Kind tho.

Sent to get the best piano bonus point ever!!

I've sent a Youtube link as the song isn't on Spotify. Home, the youtube link was the only one I could find, if the sound quality is a little dodgy to your ears I could probably email you the actual file?

Twosuitsluke, youtube is fine. I listened to the song and I can say that the soundquality does not take away from my enjoyment of the song (The piano does sound very digital/electric but that's how it's supposed to sound right?)

You could do a "semi-hangman" in that you pre-enter some letters, and then only take guesses for artists and song titles.

Might as well do normal hangmanen then, still need one more song though

Yea, I don't think it's played on a legit piano!! It's all keyboard, that's still cool right?

Sooooooooo 5/10 on first impressions? Don't play with me
