Speaking about things you don't like about the forum in another language is kinda lame lol.
Lame is to be criticized for being laughing at a moderator who was laughing at my opinion.
Don't want to start again, my last note on that but I hope the people in charge of this forum make a good mea culpa.
I' m done with it, have a good week-end, bonne fin de semaine amis francais, plaisant de vous parler.
Although I don't usually spend so much time going off topic on a mod-related discussion in a thread, I'll give one last explanation for your benefit and in case there are any others reading who may not grasp the very straightforward rules of this place (although, at the moment, the latter does not appear to be an issue). Criticizing someone's
argument, especially when presenting evidence to the contrary of said argument, is a perfectly valid and acceptable manner of discussion here (obviously, provided that it is done in a way that does not otherwise break the rules). Criticizing
people, including the mod staff and the band, is against the forum rules. Sometimes, those lines blur, such as when someone is attacking an argument in such as way as to bait others or as to make it really just a thinly veiled criticism of the person himself. But, for the most part, that usually doesn't happen here.
Another user here (not a mod) pointed out that
your argument is laughable. Probably not the best choice of words on his part, but at worst, that is a very borderline criticism that doesn't blatantly violate the rules. And he also presented indisputable evidence of why your point was 100% wrong. He did not criticize
you. Your attacks on other people, in contrast, do violate the rules. If you still do not understand that, PM me because this thread has already gone off topic on this discussion far too long. But read the forum rules. If you don't understand them, I am willing to help you understand. If you do understand and do not choose to follow them, that is on you. If you don't like how this place is run, frankly, I don't much care. When you come into someone else's house, you either show respect to the host and follow his rules, or you get out. End of story. I don't have neither the time nor the inclination to allow someone in my house who shows myself and my other guests no respect and who refuses to follow my rules. The vast majority of people here have no problem getting that.
Now back to the topic at hand.
