I'm french, so I do make mistake like that.

I'm French, I don't. Btw, you certainly wanted to say "mistakeS"? Just kidding, of course.

Well, that's enough French.

I can translate what I wrote, I have nothing to hide :

Well, you know, I've been on the forum since 2007, that is before DTF even existed. I, too, sometimes had the impression that some were treated in a certain way, others in a totally different way. At the end of the day, this forum is very well moderated and is certainly one of the best forums there is in the genre, both as far as moderation goes and as to what you can find there. Honestly, you have to let go a little even if it's difficult at times. I always try my best to do so even if, sometimes, I can't. In any case, in 9 years, I was given a warning only once. Yet, I don't know if it tells more about me or them.  Cheers!

I doubt it.  Your post was fine IMO, the other called a mod stupid (at least thats the way google translated it).  I'm not a mod or anything, but I would say to just relax and not get so heated about an online forum.  The anger/negativity just isn't worth it for something so meaningless in the large scale.  Walk away if you feel your response is going to be negative like that.

Merci...

I'm french and this is nearly not understadable :D
Enough french for sure.

BTW I liked the video, but as a musician it was too superficial to teach me something I didn't heard listening to the album.
I can understand it from a non technician point of view it can be cool to see how the same melody can be shifted elsewhere :)

Sure! Enough of that kind of French! :rollin Back to topic, I'm not a musician (well, sort of) and I was not ineterested. I think the non professional recording is largely responsible for that.

Speaking about things you don't like about the forum in another language is kinda lame lol.

Lame is to be criticized for being laughing at a moderator who was laughing at my opinion.

Don't want to start again, my last note on that but I hope the people in charge of this forum make a good mea culpa.

I' m done with it, have a good week-end, bonne fin de semaine amis francais, plaisant de vous parler.

Although I don't usually spend so much time going off topic on a mod-related discussion in a thread, I'll give one last explanation for your benefit and in case there are any others reading who may not grasp the very straightforward rules of this place (although, at the moment, the latter does not appear to be an issue).  Criticizing someone's argument, especially when presenting evidence to the contrary of said argument, is a perfectly valid and acceptable manner of discussion here (obviously, provided that it is done in a way that does not otherwise break the rules).  Criticizing people, including the mod staff and the band, is against the forum rules.  Sometimes, those lines blur, such as when someone is attacking an argument in such as way as to bait others or as to make it really just a thinly veiled criticism of the person himself.  But, for the most part, that usually doesn't happen here.

Another user here (not a mod) pointed out that your argument is laughable.  Probably not the best choice of words on his part, but at worst, that is a very borderline criticism that doesn't blatantly violate the rules.  And he also presented indisputable evidence of why your point was 100% wrong.  He did not criticize you.  Your attacks on other people, in contrast, do violate the rules.  If you still do not understand that, PM me because this thread has already gone off topic on this discussion far too long.  But read the forum rules.  If you don't understand them, I am willing to help you understand.  If you do understand and do not choose to follow them, that is on you.  If you don't like how this place is run, frankly, I don't much care.  When you come into someone else's house, you either show respect to the host and follow his rules, or you get out.  End of story.  I don't have neither the time nor the inclination to allow someone in my house who shows myself and my other guests no respect and who refuses to follow my rules.  The vast majority of people here have no problem getting that.

Now back to the topic at hand.
