Welcome to The Hunter Survivor. The Hunter is first Mastodon's non-concept album after debut Remission. While I like this album very much I feel the absence of the concept, and The Hunter is, more than any other of their albums, collection of songs. Yes, great songs but it IMO lacks something Crack the Skye or Leviathan have. It is also their cleanest album, with more singing and far less shouting. Brann also started doing lead vocals on more songs.
I think I'll wait for others to start voting and follow you. There are songs I like more than others but it's hard to choose my least favorite. I feel people will vote out Creature Lives first and I agree it's not really signature Mastodon song but I'd like to save it :P

EDIT: Is there meaning to words CurlBurl I don't know because it doesn't let me to post them :lol

I have no clue what a single song on this album sounds like tbh

Thickening.

I like this album a lot, but I don't think that it has many stand-out tracks, with The Sparrow being the exception. If that doesn't at least make the consolations, I'll be pretty disappointed.
scorpion is my favorite deathcore lobster
Hey, the length is fine :azn: Thanks!

I voted for Thickening, too. It was Thickening or one of other two.

This album starts insanely strong, gets a bit bland after Octopus Has no Friends and then ends on a highlight again. While it's not Mastodon's strongest output, the album has quite some highlights.

I'm voting Creature Lives, mostly because it's out of place and a weird track overall. An obvious dip in quality.
Hey dude slow the fuck down so we can finish together at the same time.

Dry Bone Valley
ドリームシアターはあまり好きではありませんが、ペンと紙を持っていたので、なんてこった。

Thickening
people on this board are actual music fans who developed taste in music and not casual listeners who are following current fashion trends and listening to only current commercial hits.
