I'll let anyone guess at this point, we're almost done. One of them seems pretty obvious to me now while the Frightened Rabbit song only misses 2 letters and the third and last one could be a bit of a tough one still.

DALICOBERT

Wilderun – The Garden Of Fire
_oo__orro_ - _a__ari_a_ta
Being - Mindflay
Oceansize - The Frame
Rainbow – Gates Of Babylon
Focus - Hocus Pocus
Death – Voice Of The Soul
Frightened Rabbit - _et O_t
__l__ec_ - _____ D_c_
Obsidian Kingdom - Away / Absent
Chicago - Beginnings
Death Cab For Cutie - Grapevine Fires

Starting my third listen soon and will get some teasers out afterwards.

Maybe you should name this song then, because I'm not going to google it and I'm drawing a blank.

This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.

Also, I'll give you the teedbeets now that I've given every song a good amount of listens and I feel pretty sure about how I will score the songs.

So does this guy play in a soul band? If not, he definitely should. I feel like he’s terribly underused here

So simple, yet so damn beautiful

I knew I could count on you for sending me some great heavy shit

For a song as unusual as this it gets old remarkably quick

Can’t say this lived up to my expectations for this band but it’s still quite good

Pretty much your run-of-the-mill [genre] music, which is not bad here but I can’t point out anything that makes it stand out

Pretty straightforward [genre] but the sheer energy and dynamics make this a damn good song

And last but not least, I will reveal the second bonus round content this evening or tomorrow, but more likely tonight.

One of these two, probably. I hope it's not one of the more negative tidbits :\

You're from Finland? Finish is, among European languages, definitely the weirdest one :lol Hungarian is weird, too, but both sound cool.

Finnish and Hungarian are on the Uralic side of languages, unlike most in Europe. Estonian is probably just as strange :)

Tell you what, here's what the song looks like with the guessed letters + the U's: _ul__ec_ - _u___ Duc_

And Luoto's Sankarihauta was correct, so this is the only one that hasn't been guessed yet.

Bonus round #2

It’s time for your second bonus challenge! For this challenge you will send me any album cover art. You can send me the album art of any album that’s not from any of the banned artists. Or, if you so desire, you can make your own epic album art like I did, this is the cover for my upcoming Pain of Salvation cover album:

I don’t have anything specific to say about which kind of arts I enjoy most, I will say that minimalistic album art can be just as beautiful as the complex artsy stuff. If you’d like you could turn this bonus round into a little sales-pitch kind of thing if you will, explain what's so great about your album cover art and all that. I won’t disadvantage the people that don’t though, but writing a bit about why you like it or something could be a nice addition.

Opposed to the first bonus round, I won’t deliver results simultaneously with the round 3 results here. These will be ranked and rated pretty quickly and will stand on its own as a round during the sending process of round 3, so the results of this will be out rather quickly after I’ve received them all.

This round is not obligatory, but there’s nothing to lose so it’s probably worth it. Rewards will be slightly different from the round 1 rewards and once again nothing mindblowing, just a small boost, if at all. It’s just a way of keeping the waiting process a bit more enjoyable.

Will get looking. Just want to say, whilst on this topic, that I think the latest Riverside album is one of the most amazing pieces of album art I've ever seen. I'm looking to get it on vinyl just to frame it. Also, anything by John Baizley  :hefdaddy

My first thought was David Maxim Micic's Eco. Not the biggest fan of the music, but the art is absolutely stellar. :hefdaddy

It's done by Shepaintswithblood, an artist who does all kind of ethereal drawings and paintings, I recommend following her on FB, her art is stunning.

Interesting bonus. I'll look for something shortly but since this is something I don't usually spend much time thinking about, I currently don't have a damned clue what I am going to send. :lol

Edit: Went through my Last.fm and picked the first thing I came across that I thought "yeah, that looks kinda cool". :lol
