Correct, you can not send one in these rounds if youve already used it up.

EDIT: Working on the EP rules now aswell, and for this I won't reset the 11+ minute song thing, but I will extend the limit to 15 minutes because I know some people like to base an EP around a big epic. I think I can post all the rules later today but don't hold me up on this.

Guys what should I do? I havent heard anything from Elite and Parama, sent out pm's and spotify messages yesterday but no answer as of yet. Idont want to start without them but I do want to end the roulette fairly quickly.

Also, I'd say you give Elite and Parama one or two more days - after that, you start listening anyway; if they get their songs in later, then their songs will get less playtime as a "punishment" for tardiness and it would still keep the roulette going.

In case I do this we will need at least one outsider to actively guess letters in order to keep it running though, or I could change it so that you only have to wait 2 turns after guessing.

The Spotify PMs kind of suck. I use Spotify on my computer amd two other devices (phone and iPad) and I can't see the messages I receive on my computer on the other devices and vice versa. Pretty weird. If you really want to reach me, Facebook messenger is probably the best way to go.

Anyway, I'm listening to a couple of tracks now before deciding what to send now, or in the two subsequent rounds. The round 9 thing is interesting (two songs instead of one), but I also need to make sure I have enough stuff left for the EP.

The EP round

As you may have noticed by the overall format and some of my posts before no one is getting sacked between now and the end of the roulette, so the finals essentially consist out of 3 rounds. Still, the EP round is by far the most impactful and pretty much everything comes down to this, so I hope you haven’t gone through all the good stuff yet.

The formula I’ll be using to score the EP's I will keep to myself, but I can give away that I did try to make it rely more on the flow this time around, and the overall replay value, cohesiveness of it all, stuff outside of individual song scores that come into play. I wanted to announce it so soon this time around since you may need some time to think about which songs fit together best and stuff.

So here’s the rules/restrictments:

-   Maximum length of 40 minutes, minimum length of 25 minutes.
-   Maximum of 5 different artists, with a cap of 17 minutes per artist.
-   No cap on the amount of songs you want to fit in, throwing in additional segue/interlude tracks to improve the flow may prove necessary/useful in this so no limit.
-   Individual song length limit is 15 minutes and everyone gets an additional use of an 11+ minute song if they want to.

For this round I definitely prefer files over spotify or youtube or any of the other streaming websites/options, to my experience the easiest way is to upload them to MEGA.nz and send me the link to download. Also, make clear in what order they should be listened to in case the titles aren't marked with 1. 2. etc.

yeah and whatever you still want to send you can leave behind in a post-game pm or something. I really don't feel this restriction is such a gamechanger, I mean the average EP (in my experience) has about 5 songs and is just over 20-25 minutes in length, I set the max to 40 but I don't see the benefit of going with so much material. If you can prove me wrong go ahead but I expected like a 30 minute average, maybe closer to 35 or something but that would still be around 6-7 minutes per artist on average.

also it's because i've been planning my EP for like a month tbh and pretty much all the planning i've done is useless now, i actually would not have sent the artist i did for round 8 and would've held them for the EP had I known but whtaever

That kinda sucks yeah, I didn't know you would plan ahead so much. I personally hold back a good amount of bands that I feel work better in an EP than on their own but I would never actually put work into it before I'm sure what the rules are because for all you know the host sets a theme for it or something crazy. Do more people do this?

i was kind of annoyed with myself during my first roulette for hiding all the round themes and stuff because some of the themed rounds did not go so well bcuz nobody had time to plan
