The whole idea of shooting the shark is fucking stupid too. After a shark attack, yeah, they go out in a boat on THE OCEAN with a million sharks and somehow, they find the ONE shark that attacked a surfer.
I mean, are people that gullable?

Yeah, it's not like they have fucking tracking devices or something.  If they then do kill something, how is it not random and just to try stop the outcry from fucking retards.  You take that risk going into the ocean.  You get you're leg bitten off, sorry pal, bad fucking luck.

It's a vicious circle. A shark gets killed by a fisherman, so the sharks scout the local beach and look at one of the swimmers and say "Hey that's the one that shot Jabberjaw". And then they go back to the Shark Reef and say..."we got him!"

The kayaker's video was a tad upsetting.

Why?  Just because he could and probably should have died?  Lucky as hell the gator didn't eat him when he went under.

Love the crocs just beasting it up through the suburbs too.

Yeah, that second day cheated death for sure.

Nothing too interesting in this article but in Australia, looks like they are bulking up, skipping the fish and moving to pork and fucking more.  These fuckers are gonna take over.  This just popped into my MSN feed haha.

https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/techandscience/saltwater-crocodiles-are-eating-a-lot-of-feral-hogs-in-australia/ar-AAX1Thz?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=5474b29f6ecf427cb0a91c7112282d23

Saltwater crocodiles in Australia’s Northern Territory are thriving, and the reason why might surprise you. The population of the big reptiles in the area rose from a low of around 3,000 in 1971 to more than 100,000 today. And it turns out, a proliferation of wild pigs might be fueling the croc comeback

Ha... full disclosure, up here on Long Island, my wife and I enjoy kayaking on the sound and some of the local rivers. When we move down to Florida later this year, we fully intend on continuing to kayak in the many Florida state and national parks. But I don't think there's a body of water there that won't have at least a gator or three.

That said, a couple summers ago, we were swimming on one of the many beaches on the south shore when they suddenly called everybody out of the water. Apparently, a great white had been spotted close by...  shades of the movie Jaws, which was set in Long Island.

He wasn't even looking for a frisbee. He was looking for some to sell to disc golfers. Who knew a side hustle could be so deadly?

"Hey buddy, wanna buy a frisbee?"
"Um... it looks kinda... swampy."
"Naw man, just a little wear and tear!"
"No thanks, new frisbees really aren't that expensive."

And some good advice:

Maybe if you're running from someone with a gun or who might have a gun.........so could be almost any situation involving a threatening human in the US.  You'd assume the alligator isn't packing though :lol

We could tell Americans the crocs over here carry weapons......they'd probably believe it.

I skimmed the article too quick and missed he was looking for frisbees to sell.  That's outrageous!  :lol
