Well, now I don't know what to vote for. The next one I want out is definitely Powerslave, but I'm guessing the odds of that happening are close to 0%. I may vote for Brave New World this time, if it seems like one I like better than both of those is in danger. Or I may just throw a vote at Powerslave in vain. I don't know.

The Number of the Beast
I know it's classic but I care for others more.

Outcrier

Wow, votes for Number of the Beast already?

Count me in  :tup

Awesome, I wasn't sure when people would finally be able to go for some of the sacred 80s cows. Seems like that's finally starting to happen.

Yea, thought I was going to be the first one to chose that.  Glad to not be the only one.  Hallowed is the best track, but from an all around album perspective, I enjoy the rest more than this one.

Outcrier

I'm surprised. Of the 80s albums still in, i thought people would go after Piece of Mind first, not fuckin' Number of the Beast.

MirrorMask

Somewhere in Time until it's out, Bruce would agree with me  :metal

And Eddie take you all for voting out the wonderful Dance of Death!  :yarr

Giving Powerslave its much-deserved first vote.

Seriously, it has 4 really good songs and then eh. The other albums here have 6+ really good songs.

Evermind

Yeah, out of all 80s albums, TNoTB is my favourite.

Mladen

This is where it gets hard for everybody.

Not everybody  Out of the ones left I have no problem voting Book of Souls, Piece of Mind and Somewhere in Time. If those were out of the race it would get pretty difficult though.

AMOL&D is the only one of these I haven't heard yet, but I voted against it to save TNOTB.

This is sad, AMOLAD is their best album.

Seriously, it's one of their best albums. Listen to it and be sorry you voted for it.

Evermind

Don't be sorry if you voted for it to save TNoTB, the best Iron Maiden album.

I don't care much for both TNOTB or AMOLAD. They're ok and that's it

The very existence of Gangland makes that statement false. :P

Outcrier

At least, it has Hallowed, Number and Children making up for that.

MirrorMask

The Number of the Beast is their most important album, but not their best.

But hey, it's not that it's filled with bad songs, it all comes down to tastes in the end, it's like picking out of so many beautiful women who's the actual hottest.

True. I guess for one such as yourself the best songs matter more than consistent quality since, according to you, only a few albums have ever been of consistently high quality. :P

Outcrier

That's because i am merciless. If i see a clunker, i don't go easy on it.
