splent's scoring is really generous if 7/10 is "pretty meh" and "quite monotonous" though  :lol

Next round tidbits:

This song is too short

I like this but it feels like its going nowhere

Cant help but feel this would be better in the context of the album

This one is also on the short side

Just when I thought it was going to begin the song was over, meh

You forgot

I was expecting at least 2 chords, this was only one.

This song was too long to be so short

I was thinking the entire time when is this song going to end? Luckily it did very quickly

I've got all sorts of different comments for that Guro von Germeten song.  I mostly describe it as "sailorsong meets Pop, with some Jazz thrown in". Somr people said it was Tango-esque, some couldn't quite place it, some agreed with me. You're the first to call it "musical", though. I honestly can't quite see where you come from, but then I don't listen to musicals at all.
You should check out the album though, it's really diverse and each aong sounds just a bit unique.

And I'll send im a few.

Okay, sent a perfect two minutes long song. But then, I'm a ballad fan, so I'm biased.

Also, that makes it 4 ballads in 4 rounds for me. Let's see how far can I advance sending only ballads I guess.

Alright, that wasn't quite the reception I was hoping for, but it seems like it's enough to keep me on pace to survive... Sending my short song now. Hopefully you like it. I think it's pretty good.

Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Like I'm imagining a scene where she's singing to a guy. A dark room, possibly a living room, possibly a bar, other people around, she's like dancing around te guy, teasing him, at one point on the table. Like I'm imagining a similar air as the musical Chicago or Cabaret. A darker story.

if i'm to be honest, i find this round's theme incredibly frustrating, because very, very few songs can feel complete in a mere 2 minutes. the two songs i've found that i'd send because they're complete enough would both likely not do very well at all as they're both too intense for poor lil splent  :lol

I was actually gonna send a similar band in the second round, but, as I said, changed at the last minute and got one of the lowest scores of the round.

Send Light of Day, Day of Darkness. :neverusethis:

I didn't have a huge problem finding something. I understand, though. I kind of got lucky in that I have one that short that I really like.

would you rather have something to make you laugh or do you want full-fledged attempts at actual songs?

Just updated the OP with the spotify playlist and the bonuses used through round 3. Elite, Parama, and Evermind have used all of theirs. The rest have at least one left. So far, some are choosing to use them, some are choosing to save their last one if they make it to the next round.

Still Waiting on 3 to submit.

I'm curious to see how Spence rates them. It's tough to get a feel for a song under 2 minutes.

Still waiting on Chad and Sacul. It is possible that I accidentally deleted your PMs if you deleted, since I just cleaned out Round 3 submission PMs, and that's on me. If it slipped your mind, I would like the submission within the next 24 hours if possible. Thanks!
