Well it's been a while since I've jammed some stuff in heavy doses, these are some of them.
Bocanada: Damn this is some amazing national stuff, quite electronic but very atmospheric and chill, and catchy. Loving it.
The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld: Some roulette stuff, very nice electronic stuff, chill and kinda experimental. Prob too long tho.
Channel Orange: More roulette stuff, and also from bae's top 100. Very solid production and songwriting, yet I'm not sure if I'm sold into those modern R&B sounds.
The Great Cold Distance: Well, first time with Katatonia. Interesting stuff, even if a bit one-dimensional for a first listen, but I like their style. Will revisit.
Pig Inside the Gentleman: Ohboy, this is some great, uh, cinematic jazz? Definitely feels very contemporary, with a production normally of rock albums, meaning it's loud but with lots of space. Also a little chaotic but definitely more accesible than older, more classic jazz I've tried.
Impressions: Definitely more atmospheric and minimalist than his debut and Walking on a Flashlight Beam. I dig it tho - hyped for his new album in a few months!
