Man, I always forget how brilliant "Veteran Of the Psychic Wars" is.

Getting very good reviews around the place.  Has a couple of very good tracks but overall their brand of "disco metal" is a bit too heavy on the disco for my taste. Solid album though and she has a great voice..

Deen Castronovo may have some personal stuff he's working through.  But, the guy can play and sing like a motherf*cker.

Flying Colors -  Second Nature
I just don't understand what they were trying to achieve with any part of the song, either individually or as a whole. You know what? It's the Platypus of Dream Theater songs. That bill doesn't go with that tail, or that strange little furry body, or those webbed feet, and oh god why does it have venomous spurs!? And then you find out it lays eggs too. The difference is that the Platypus is somehow functional despite being a crazy mishmash or leftover animal pieces

Reunited with my love this morning. The only thing I was afraid of with this album is that it wouldn't pass the test of time, but it has almost been a year since my first listen and it's still perfect
people on this board are actual music fans who developed taste in music and not casual listeners who are following current fashion trends and listening to only current commercial hits.

A bit too moody/melancholy for my taste but still...........very solid album for the style.

Blaze Bayley - Endure and Survive

The last album was a step up for Blaze compared to he previous releases, and this one continues in the same fashion. Still not as good as the first 3 Blaze albums, but it's good nonetheless.
