Marty Friedman- Scenes , introduction. Bloody annoying - the track order was mixed up on the USB with Scenes. Hadn't noticed until playing it in the car today. Will have to rip it again.

Heard really good things about this one when it got released, still haven't gotten to it but I will soon. This is the new one (3) right?
people on this board are actual music fans who developed taste in music and not casual listeners who are following current fashion trends and listening to only current commercial hits.

It's just an incredible album.  It never gets old and I'm in the mood to listen to it at anytime.

Definitely, Hatebreeder is probably a close second as I got both those albums at the same time  :metal

this is... fine but it's failed to leave much of an impression on me after three listens. does a lot of different stuff within the black metal realm and there are a few moments i go "yeah that's cool" but nothing that really sticks. bleh.

honestly this is better than i remember it being on first listen, may have to check this one out too at some point (i already ordered lazarus because i gave up trying to find out whether or not i like it lol)

giant squid: this is surprisingly not that heavy, at least not as heavy as i remembered on full listen, but it is... good, yeah. honestly feels like some weird mixture of stoner/sludge metal and 70's prog, a lot of psychedelic elements here up to the closer just being a 20 minute jam. and all the songs hold their own pretty well, aside from the stupid interlude track that's only a minute long there's nothing here i'd cut. so yeah. it's not fantastic but i dig it.
intronaut: whoa, boy. i am actually surprised at how good this is, considering it tends to be regarded lower than their other albums. which is... a bit unfair? it's quite good. musically it's most comparable to their latest, though produced better imo, but it's also a bit heavier on the whole than any of their other albums though it has its quiet moments. i like it more than at least valley of smoke and maybe habitual levitations, and, yeah, it's a pretty great listen front to back
soen: okay, i give up. be as derivative as you want if you're gonna make tunes this enjoyable, i guess. really, most every track stands on its own pretty well on top of all of them being interesting and pretty great. they made a good album and i will commend them for that, certainly.

Jean Michel Jarre - Equinoxe

Love this album! I enjoy this every bit as much as Oxygene. For me both albums are right up there with the best of Klaus Schulz, Tangerine Dream, Ash Ra, Vangelis and Kitaro when considering great electronic albums.
