aenaon: this is a pretty cool sound that i dig quite a bit, but i can't help but feel that there's... something missing. mind you this is still a pretty good album though. the use of sax and the general kind-of-but-not-extremely weird vibe of the songs is nice and the metal's pretty good. one of the vocalists who does this weird growl/talking thing can be a bit annoying at times i guess. but yeah i'll def keep spinning this at the very least
the antlers: oh goddammit why didn't i check this out sooner. this is just plain great. wake is a goddamn masterpiece of a song and two and epilogue are pretty damn great too and i wouldn't say there are really any weak tracks, though atrophy is easily my least favorite here. i know the concept is like some metaphor or something but i think i prefer to take it literally & it works great on that level anyways so, whatever, good stuff
indukti: this is like. halfway between the first three riverside albums and adhd. basically. none of the synthy industrial stuff but it's got the same jagged, riff-based feel throughout. and mariusz being present on two of the songs certainly helps that feel. i don't know if it's an album i can say stands out that much, but i can say that it's pretty good. a few too many moments of pointless downtime though
