This is pretty pleasant and nice, but just... ok. Most tracks sound too similar, and it's not even a sound I'm in love with. I guess I prefer The Campfire Headphase, sounds better with those added guitars.

Yeah, the first Malice is great, but I felt the second one (License To Kill) was a big letdown. Maybe the reason why there wasn't a 3rd one.

Like all those except the Chastain. Love the first two of David Chastains instrumental albums but his other stuff leaves me cold.
I have Mystery of Illusion and Voice of the Cult on vinyl from back in the day. Just never liked the singer.

While not the best Chastain album, Mystery Of Illusion is pure innocent magic, but I can understand that the voice of Leather isn't everybodies cup of tea. Voice Of The Cult is the album they lost me.

I don't know if Leatherwolf still exist, but I'd be ready for a new album. World Asylum from 2006 wasn't too bad.

Last I heard there was two versions of Leatherwolf (and the requisite fight over the name) so you should be doubly happy

hmm this is... interesting. definitely doing its own thing. not sure i'm a fan of the vocals and i'm surprised at how much of this is instrumental but it's diverse enough to work.

As Brent said, good but a bit samey. However, it's not such a big issue for an album that's only slightly longer than 40 minutes (the fact it apparently took them five years to make is, though).
