i kinda like it but i can't get over the post-hardcore vocals and the muddy production. mostly it doesn't really stand out much though.
to be fair i was filling out my ballot while listening and barely paying attention but i got the gist of it i think :V

Yesterday + right now.

Skein - Of Wings Unfolding

Cracking post-hardcore album, maybe the most undeservingly obscure thing in the world. The sludgy side of the genre as well, not the poppy stuff.

Sings Reign Rebuilder: If you listened to F#A#Infinity and thought "but what if we go FURTHER?" then this album answers that question.
Wild Opera: Well, this is definitely No-Man's most experimental, weirdest album. Yet I think the songwriting here is quite weak, as most songs aren't really memorable tbh. Still a solid album.

Silent Hill 3: So finished the game last week and decided to delve into the soundtrack - damn, this is pure trip-hop. Not complaining tho, these tracks are great. It kinda lacks the variety of the previous Silent Hill OST, but this is very good anyways - Mary Elizabeth McGlinn has a fantastic voice, I love it  :heart
Music Has the Right to Children: Listened to this one mostly out of curiosity (their sound still hasn't totally clicked with me) since it's quite an iconic record, and being honest, it's kinda boring. Hope it grows on me tho.

so uhh... the means to preserve... is actually even better than the garden of fire... which is already really great

this is just a damn strong record on the whole, that's the impression i get
i didn't even listen through the entire album until today, or at least hadn't listened to the last few tracks so uhh yeah. awesome

Just love the atmospheres in this

Really enjoyed this, there's not too much that stand out but the overall sound is just really pleasant to listen too. I do love it when the singers screams out at some parts.

It's a Westwood One radio show concert that was broadcast in 84 and released as a Japanese boot.  VERY good sound for an early 80's gig,

I'm familiar with the show and had the boot at some point. If that ever comes out officially, I'll be all over it.

This version I have here (supposedly remastered) sounds fanfuckingtastic - will try and remember to put a song on a future show.
