WTF is Alligator Farm??

Checking Spotify...I see it's Paul Gilbert.

I assume he's the vocalist too? Some tasty licks for sure, but I don't think I could get through the whole thing. Last Lions is pretty smoking though.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

I think Burning Organ may be my favorite PG album. "Bliss" from that album is a face melter.

Just listened to the new Radiohead album, it's good!

Definitely will look into this band more after having been impressed with this one and OKC
Go with The Bends.

Division Bell: A bit cheese here and there, but quite a solid PF album imo - High Hopes is amazing. So glad Gilmour performed it live last year <3
Sings Reign Rebuilder: This is the closes an album I've found to F# A# Infinity. It's mostly field recording of the band staying in an old lodge, but it has lots of very interesting musical moments.
Kid A: I think this album finally clicked with me, or is starting to do so - such a layered, textured record.

Free: Solid record, quite heavy and lots of interesting electronics.
Wild Opera: Probably No-Man's most experimental album, very trip-hop, weird, and diverse. I'd love it if the songwriting wasn't weak. Also lack of standout songs.
Campfire Headphase: Wasn't really into it last year, but for some reason decided to give it another chance, now that I have decent headphones. Holy shit, this is great. Like Kid A, this is some beautiful production and layering.

God, I played this album so much back in about '04 that I can't even really listen to it now. It is an incredible album. I should give it a go sometime to see if I can make it through it.

Well, Toxicity is just a major trip down memory lane whenever I do listen to it (rarely), I like the FTM album a fair bit but I'm not the biggest fan.

And then there's The Stage which might just crack my top 3 albums of 2016, woah, listened to it at least 10 times already

Man, I knew when listening to Angels, at some point it felt really familiar but it just hit me. The "chorus" (if you could call it that) sounds so similar to Dream Theater's Disappear!

these guys opened up for The Ocean last night and they seemed pretty cool so I picked up their EP 'cause it was cheap why not
they describe themselves as blackened death metal but beyond that i also hear a lot of post-rock influence
which is what makes this pretty solid to listen to really, it's dynamic and the heavy moments hit with more punch due to the abundance of lighter moments
yeah, kinda dig it

Hey Ozzy, how is the Graham Bonnet?

A bit overproduced but I still enjoyed it. I also like some of the re-recordings they kinda forced him to do lol.

Just listened to this, definitely think it would go down well around these parts. Don't be put off by the terrible album artwork, here is a better description of their sound than I could give:

"Astronoid is a five-piece band from Boston, MA with influences ranging from Devin Townsend and Mew to Alcest and Cynic. Their first full length album, being released by Blood Music in 2016, is part of an evolving experience that complements their two acclaimed EPs from 2012-13, Stargazer and November. The driving rhythms, subtle time signatures and soaring vocal harmonies combine to create an auditory cloud to lift you into the ether. There’s always something new to discover hidden within the dense layers of thrashy guitar riffs and euphoric vocals. Lyrically, the record conveys a disillusioned and hopeful view of the world as a whole.

It's free on their Bandcamp page too:

https://blood-music.bandcamp.com/album/air"
