like wow there's just none of the interesting experimentation on this album, it's such a shame. i hear their followup is at least a bit quirkier but still kind of in the same "straightforward songs" vein

poked around at a few of the songs then accidentally ended up listening to the entire album, albeit really out of order

...yeah, this is the shining i like more. even weirder than blackjazz honestly but it's incredibly fascinating stuff to listen to.
i also found out that there's a 2PC set of this + their previous album on importcds for a reasonable price so I may have to pick that up? i'd kinda prefer to get each album separately but it'd be a lot more expensive/harder to find...

okay this is maybe a bit far removed from what I'd want to listen too though. way more along the lines of jazz fusion than anything else. it's kinda interesting but not really my thing

good to know that like all of healter skelter is reworked bits from their previous two albums though ahah  :lol
