only week's worth of listens for all these tbh and i'm still gonna keep listening but i have opinions

eluvium: this is the good kind of chill and i just adore it, tbh. it's the kind of ambient stuff you can just let wash over you, nothing intrusive and nothing that destroys the atmosphere. the way i like it tbh
shining: giving this more spins it starts to kind of make more sense and lose a bit of its intrigue but i still enjoy listening to it regardless. there's something visceral and unsettling to the last few tracks especially. i still think this may be more "interesting" than "i really like it" but i enjoy listening to it regardless
thank you scientist: they didn't disappoint. a proggier direction than their debut but i kinda dig it for that, and they still have a talent for ridiculously memorable hooks. don't really feel there's a weak song on here but if there is one at all it's blue automatic, i guess, a bit "there" compared to the rest but still good. but yeah. this is rlly good

honestly this was accidentally a really good set of albums to have together because i like them all a lot but i also like them all for completely different reasons

I work as a Senior Support Worker supporting adults with learning disabilities. This morning I am supporting one of the young ladies I work with to make a roast dinner. She's OBSESSED with Meat Loaf so we are peeling veg, singing and rocking out to the mighty Meat Loaf.

What a time to be alive!!

I'm a Community Memtal Health nurse, working with people with dementia. I've nursed maybe a handful of patients who's musical taste has any relevance to mine, but it's sweet when it happens. Meat Loaf was one of those bands, along with Zep, Hendrix, Sabbath.
I love some Meat Loaf though.

That's really cool. Music is great for people with dementia. There are a couple of people I support with Down's Syndrome who have the early onset of dementia. I wouldn't call myself a fan of Meat Loaf at all but I'd rather listen to that then a lot of other crap out there. Surprisingly catchy and great to sing-a-long to.

There is another lady I support, through agency work, who is in her mid 50's and is a very sweet lady who almost seems a bit old before her time. One of the first time's I supported her I walked in and she had headphones on. I asked her what she was listening to and she said "Megadeth." I couldn't believe it!! I would never in a million years guess she was into metal. She loves Motley Crue as well

checked this out bcuz 1. it was listed as jazz fusion 2. it's like <$5 on importcds lol
only listened thru the first half because i don't really have time but. it seems solid. very little jazz in here tbh, about as much as a standard prog metal band would have. the production and especially drum sound could use a bit of work. probably won't check it out further but

i was gonna check out wilderun but they don't have any albums on importcds so r i p, i'll look into them later
(only rlly looking into cds because devy next friday that i want to have asap, and 3 is a good number. #2 is the new eluvium for the record so i just need a third)

anyways now i gotta do roulette results

Really loving this at the moment. Been on a bit of an RX Bandits kick and the vocal melodies on this album are just doing it for me
