Fun , consistently solid hard rock record with 2 or 3 standouts , but nothing hugely memorable. 85% type rating and the most Stryper-like of his solo records.

There are better PL albums in my opinion but this one is pretty cool, too.

The start of the decline. Awful album but what followed has been worse with each successive album.

Today I've played Yngwie's Magnum Opus. Enjoyable album.

I'm done with Paradise Lost for now guys. Listened to Faith Divides Us - Death Unites Us, Draconian Times and The Plague Within.

Didn't like Draconian Times, loved a few songs off Faith Divides Us including the title-track and especially "Frailty", my favorite PL tune so far. The Plague Within was my favorite, very consistent throughout and not a single mediocre song on it, also a very diverse output.

Now deciding between Flaming Row and Obsidian Kingdom for my next band to check out, any tips?

Flaming Row: Sounds like I get sent the best 3 songs off this album. Great picks for the EP round but overall not that impressed by this album, don't know what it is but it's too sweet or something, I'd like some more core growls like on Rage of Despair, some more catchy tunes like Nightingales Chirp and some more killer instrumental sections like on Time Mirror.

Obsidian Kingdom: Only on the third song right now and even though it's a pretty short album IDK if I can finish it today, but it sounds very good so far.

Probably going to go through Mantiis a couple times again afterwards because I remember it being really good too, and after that it's time for Dir En Grey baby

not today though. Besides Uroboros, does anyone have DEG album recommendations?
