Yea, Void Mother is on the same playlist. I'm going through the albums alphabetically though so it's towards the end  :lol

wanted to check out the album that beat me in train's roulette bcuz why not

a new tomorrow: okay opener but didn't really impress me

the search: okay so there's some metal on this album, sure. i liked this for the most part but felt it dragged a bit at the end/lyrics got really repetitive mostly

loneliness at the door: can't really point to any specific qualities but i liked this one the most so far

35 dollar special: not a fan of the samples as ever but the climax of this is pretty cool & it's nice throughout

the storm behind your eyes:  this is just bland. not unpleasant but evokes absolutely nothing from me

your drama: dig the heaviness & the climax is solid but the vocal effects throughout this song get on my nerves. and also i'm not a huge fan of this vocalist to begin with. still solid overall

sin: cos, tan. but yeah this is solid too. some moments of this (esp. that staccato riff) really work for me, some parts are just kinda there.

i think overall what would keep me from not being too interested in this on the whole is 1. the vocals, i am just not a fan of the style 2. struggling to find something notably unique about this, it's not the only thing that matters for me and if you just do something familiar really damn well that's generally good too but uniqueness is a big factor for sure

Yeah it is totally killer.....

Don't know how I have failed to checkout VdGG earlier in my life. I feel ashamed about that now.

At least I will get to see Peter Hammill live soon. Hopefully he plays A House With No Door as it was played at least once last year.

Better on the second listen. Would be so much better without those blatant Whitesnake riffs. When they just play in the style it’s great.

It sounds a bit more mature than Not For Want Of Trying but I love that album. This one is fine as well though. BTW I loooove both artwork and album name :smiley:

I've been into synthpop lately and this is a nice one. Still don't like it as much as some other people but it might grow on me, we'll see.
When You're Small sounds like Pink Floyd :o
