dvne: i dig the sound of this album in general but aside from the last track i can't really say a lot of this particularly sticks out for me. is it bad? haha no it's good stuff. is it great though? can't really say it is. i will continue spinning it for a bit longer though to see if it really clicks with me, i suppose, but i dunno
eidola: i'll freely admit when i'm wrong and yeah this is a lot better than their new one, really. the two songs before and two songs after contra all get lost in the shuffle but everything else is good though it's not without flaws either. like the closer track has some friggin' fantastic vocals in the first half but drags on far too long after that without doing much of anything. and humble ledger is still two completely unrelated songs that crashed into each other. but ehh nah i do like this a fair bit on the whole
sunpocrisy: another case where i enjoy the general sound but the songs don't quite pop for me, though i would say i generally like this one more, it's a bit more diverse it feels like. phi is probably the heaviest song really, the last three tracks are one long suite but stay a lot tamer throughout. and i dig the intro track too, love me some guitar feedback drones. i still wanna spin this one more because it's the kind of sound i really like and i do enjoy listening to this for sure but it's not quite reaching a level of "great" for me yet
