Here's the trailer of the new album : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gG8vNaWnm1g

They’ll launch Disconnected on June 10 via Karisma Records and it's the Norwegian outfit’s first material since 2013’s The Greatest Show On Earth.

Can't wait!!!

The album is now on Spotify.

Highly recommended if you like bands like Porcupine Tree, Riverside, Anathema and Marillion.

Bjorn's solo album from last year was an absolute masterpiece from beginning to end. One of my favorite releases from last year. It seems that Disconnected carries a similar sound from Bjorn's solo album. I'm waiting for my copy to show up in the mail this upcoming days. The trailer was very appealing.

I agree with you, the solo album from Bjorn is amazing.

Airbag are releasing a new album titled ‘A Day at the Beach’ on KARISMA RECORDS, out June 19th.

“Machines and Men was one of the very first songs written for the album. The initial demo was basically just guitars, drums and vocals and during a period of working the studio, rehearsing and playing the song live, it slowly evolved into something new and fresh that defined most of the material we were working on.

The lyrics describe the facts of war in a cold and objective fashion, only to turn to the spectator, with a warning and a chance to look away.”

A Day at the Beach tracklist:
Machines and Men
A Day at the Beach (part 1)
Into the Unknown
Sunsets
Day at the Beach (part 2)
The Megalomaniac

I need to give this band a better go. I have Disconnected, but I've hardly listened to it. I did listen a few weeks ago, and enjoyed it. I've kinda lumped them in with the "atmospheric" prog bands like Riverside, Gazpacho, The Pineapple Thief and Anathema. Bands I need to be in the mood for that kinda prog to listen to them. I've also looked at some of Bjorn Riis' solo albums too.

Album is gorgeous. Been revisiting Airbag's back catalog as well as Bjorn's solo stuff. They have produced pretty neat stuff.
