My ex-wife was a big gambler, so I would go with her sometimes. I always preferred Harrah's for their buffet. For me, in AC, it's about the food.  :lol  I don't gamble much.

Yes, the buffet is awesome there, hence why I like getting the free food credits.

If you wanted to go to AC one weekend, I might be able to talk her into getting us in for nothing. Though it depends on whether or not she still goes a lot. She might have lost all of the comp she used to get.

I'd definitely go, honestly has become one of my favorite things to do since breaking up with my ex.  I hardly even gamble, I just like going to the Pool After Dark party at Harrahs and getting shit faced.  But, I don't know if that is worth a conversation with your ex.

My friend last night wanted to make a bet that he could talk his way into getting us a suite upgrade  :lol I'll take that bet, because while we always get food credits, and often a room upgrade, it's never to a suite.

We're amicable with each other, for the most part. I could ask her what her comp is like.

Even if you're not serious, I'm going to pretend you are and use this as proof that not all heroes wear capes.

I believe this thread was based on the connecticut one, how is the PA one?  Never gone, but even the PA casinos are more expensive than AC.

Small. You can walk around the entire thing in 5 minutes or so since it's a circle. The CT one is fairly large and has 3 casinos in one.

ok so it's the Pennsylvania one then, right?

Since Chino is based in CT I'd assume it's the Uncasville one.

If this is still a possibility...

Saturday June 11th?

I currently am open during Memorial Day weekend too, but given the holiday it might not be easy to work out.

Weekend of June 11th would be a no go for me, I'm in Baltimore for a homebrewing conference.

I'm a Connecticut resident so its doable for me but I don't gamble at all on any level so I'd likely be very bored. Not much else to do there.
Yup. Tick is dead on.  She's not your type.  Move on.   Tick is Obi Wan Kenobi

okay, that definitely helps planning. And the plan is skip the casino trip cuz it's too far.

Booked a free three night stay and free round trip at the Venetian in two weeks.  It's good to have travel perks  :metal :metal

Ditto. Would probably have to be on a Saturday, don't have a ton of vacation days left to use this year.

I'm down for a Saturday. Do you guys want to do an afternoon there, or should we do an evening thing?

Would have to be an overnight thing for me, it's a bit of a drive, plus what's a casino trip without booze?
