Whoa just noticed this and I actually had just returned to posting in PR this week after taking a nice break myself, mostly because I had been getting tired of talking politics not because the forum sucks or anything.

That sucks, but I get it from the perspective of the mods although I'm not sure from reading through what was the part that pushed the subforum over the edge.

I find politics and religion conversation irritating because the sides are so divided and most are very strong in their opinions.

Not that I can't handle it. It's jut that I find ridged people not very good conversationalist.

Just don't keep pushing out that end date. 30 years becomes 40 and even lower payments will still cost you.

We are in this house 2.5 years, and just had to lock in the really low rates...that are already going up. One week after we locked a rate in, they went up 50 basis points. We cashed out some equity which we will use to become debt free (besides the mortgage of course). No car payments, no student loans, no credit cards or loans. We put in a pool for 60k last year and financed some of it, so that will be paid off. And our mortgage payment is lower

Not so slow, slow leak that started a week and a half ago. Right front tire is losing about 15lbs of air a day. My TPMS keeps going off and I fill it basically every morning. The dealer was of course overbooked til today, so I've had to drive on it refilling every 24hrs or so. Thanks to free air near work it hasn't been too big of a deal, but a pain in the ass.

Tire is under road hazard warranty, and Audi doesn't allow them to patch tires, so I should get a brand new tire for no charge.
