Pisses me off that Hulu only has like 25 episodes of Happy Days available. I really want to rewatch that show from beginning to end, but can't find a legal way of doing so without buying them all.

Good morning everyone.

I got some good news yesterday. My old manager knew I was moving so she called the local office up here to see if they have any openings and recommended me for a position. The position she recommended me for is way better paying and a lot more responsibility than what I was doing in Florida. I need to send her a nice gift card for dinner or something.

Also we got fiber installed yesterday! Fuck it's so fast, i was pulling 30+mbps off steam and it's also nuts have a 1:1 upload download. I need to host something

I haven't gotten it yet, still have to do an interview. My only concern is going to be salary. I'm terrible at salary negotiations. Every time it comes up I always underbid myself even though I know I"m worth more, I'm more worried of asking too much.

Yea there are some website out there that give your salary ranges for a certain job in a certain area. Try one out and see if that aligns with your thoughts and if so, you now have a set range to use if it comes up and you can even quote your source for that (in case they say like "oh you are asking a lot" "well this is the industry going salary for this job in this state according to blah blah")

Did you get Google Fiber? It's being implemented here in Wake County. Morrisville got it first, but Raleigh/Cary are next, and we are considering it.

We have att u-verse. It's a joint venture here with google fiber, so they offer the same service as google fiber for the same price but att administers it.

It's really a shame Alphabet jettisoned so much of Fiber recently. It would be an industry-altering product if it could gain mass deployment.

Okay minor annoyance #1 of today: was sent an email asking me if I had played a part in creating a specific marketing piece. I responded no, I had nothing to do with that piece. 10 minutes after I sent my reply, the person who inquired walks into my office, sits down and says, "Well...did you have any part in that? Holiday season can be quite stressful. I just try and avoid the malls for the most part. But on the 23rd I'll have to go for a awhile and do shopping. If things go wrong there is always the 24th to go back
