Sorry for disappearing.

The dude had cut the lock on a storage shed in the underground parking area. Same guy was on camera trying to do the same in another building the night before.

Ran into him as he was inside the shed.. sent the guy I was training up topside to call the police, and stayed down to deal with the fucker.

After a minute or two, the dude booked it and I chased. New guy I was training was at the top of the driveway... he and I double teamed the fucker and got him down. Then we cuffed him with the help of a resident who happened to be retired LAPD.

When I was down there dealing with the guy and my partner was on the street, all I had was a flashlight. Not a Maglite, but a little tiny bright as fuck flashlight. Guy could have had a knife, gun, etc. Huge adrenaline rush.

TCP/IP Illustrated, Volume 1. There are three volumes in the series, but I only need to focus on the first one. I plan on reading the other two anyway. They deal with implementation of the different protocols and programming within TCP/IP.

Well...I had a design dept meeting scheduled at 12:30, directly following the Membership meeting. The Membership meeting is still going on, my meeting is supposed to end at 1 because the boss has a call then, and I'm left sitting here wondering if and when my meeting will take place. If it's anything like any other time, it will be random, sometime this afternoon, and totally off the schedule, so I will undoubtedly be taken by surprise as to when it will actually occur.

She will apparently "reschedule" my meeting. That could mean a real reschedule or it could mean she has 35 minutes free at who-the-fuck-knows and she will barge in then to have it whether I'm ready or not. Most likely the latter.
