King I can sympathize with you. One of the reasons I left hospitality was workers had no sense of responsibility. They'd call out so I'd have to come in and then when I cut their hours they get pissy with me.

Sometimes you just have to come down hard on them.

Hey Guys. Dad texted me today to say he was in town and he had something for me.

I went to meet him and he handed me an envelope from Revenue & Customs.

It was a Tax Refund for £600 :)

I'll probably use it to sort my bike out and pay for my test in May.

Also I have 5 days off work. :) Yayness.

Just found out our neighbor passed away. She'd beaten breast cancer a couple years ago and recently underwent what her husband called an abdominal procedure that he said might have been cancer related, but said she was fine. We'd noticed her appearing weaker and being helped around by her parents, and tonight I saw her in a wheelchair being helped by her parents into the car, her kids coming out to give kisses and hugs. Shortly before midnight it was posted on Facebook that she's gone.

My wife and i have been beside ourselves. Really just completely speechless and gutted.

I have no words. They were quite private about it and we don't pry. It's just overwhelmingly emotional. We've been neighbors for almost 10 years and to think about it is just gutwrenching, especially considering her sons. I watched them kiss her goodbye, obviously having no idea at the time how final it was.
