I'd expect a Logitech to cost half of that. At least it's (hopefully) not chiclets, so I'd still call that an upgrade.

Mine's just to type too.
No wireless, no additional hotkeys, no lights, no macros, just a plain 104 key ANSI layout keyboard.
That happened to cost over $350.
At least you got one with a standard layout without anything weird. Besides that, it's all the same.
