I have my daughter with me this weekend, plus I took off Monday and Tuesday. Monday is an extra day with her and Tuesday I go to court. I think I will continue working on what I'm working on all weekend.

I'll be using it to lay a solid base, as I'll be at the bar from 7am until probably at least 4pm or so. Then I'll go home and pass out and mess up my sleep schedule for Saturday night

Howdy folks. Got a conference call in a few minutes that is going over our progress with the new Visual Controls at work. I've got 4 more weeks to get it set up.

A gender reveal party is another opportunity for a couple to get free stuff out of you before a baby arrives. Everyone stands around with presents for human that's still weeks/months away, and then the parents to be will have a way to reveal the gender. I went to one that had a chocolate frosted cake, and when they cut it open it was blue, revealing it was a boy. Another one I went to had a big black balloon, and when the mom to be popped it, it revealed the pink balloon inside.

I think I'm just a selfish asshole. I can understand having a party for a 1 year old, especially if there's family around and stuff. It's good to get the kid acclimated to his/her kin. But I'd almost rather go to work than go to a gender reveal party.

Yea, I'd rather not as well. If it wasn't a good friend who I hardly see anymore and who's family I also really like and never see anymore, then I would have gone to my sister's dog's 10th birthday party instead tomorrow

My one friend and her husband had a gender reveal party last summer, I had a good enough time. They didn't ask for gifts though, that would have been annoying.

I've never been to a gender reveal party and I can't think of why it needs to have this much commotion. Next thing they'll have a Evening of Conception party. Everyone gets to gather around the bed throwing gummy worms at the fornicating couple.
